Absolutely great location, affable staff, lovely views. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice! We loved the convenience of the cabin, as well as climate control and a DVD player. The hotel was in the heart of Daintree. Booked table at Cycad, it's their onsite restaurant. The venue seems like a brilliant place for vacation.

The Daintree Wilderness Lodge is a amazing retreat nestled in the heart of the rainforest. The ambiance feels magical. The sounds of frogs and toads serenading the night is lovely. My cabin was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with a large glass wall offering views of the surrounding jungle. Breakfasts were excellent, with options like hearty hot dishes alongside cereals and fresh juice. The friendly staff were genuinely helpful, with tips that enhanced my stay, like local nature walks and wildlife spotting. Maintenance needs attention. I noticed areas throughout the lodge that showed signs of wear. The cleanliness could improve especially in shared spaces. The lack of Wi-Fi in the cabins was a slight inconvenience. Despite these issues, the overall experience was enchanting was good.

private cabin arrangement, serene rainforest setting, unique nature walk to swimming hole
The hotel clearly lacks maintenance!!! Cobwebs and dust everywhere, broken furnishings, and filthy glass make for a less than pleasant environment. Serious attention to detail and necessary repairs are crucial for improvement!!!

I loved my stay in the rainforest cabin, especially with the fine tiled shower that offered amazing views of the greenery. Relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi and enjoying the beautiful deck area. Just a heads up, a few things in the cabin could use a little maintenance, but it didn't take away from the experience at all! 😊

It was just an optimal selection for a flying visit in Daintree with all in all great value for money. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch, nice for tasty meals surrounded by the sounds of nature. Watch out for the nearby hiking trails, they can be slippery and muddy after rain!

It was wonderful, disconnect, and explore the Daintree. We enjoyed guided walks on the beach and in the rainforest. A refreshing swim in a freshwater creek. They respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was yummy, with great options daily.
We had an issue with a loud air conditioning unit that disrupted our stay. Unfortunately, management didn't handle it as well as I hoped, disappointing.
